I've just had an insane headache. Advil did not cut it. Percosets just make me feel weird and lightly buzzed. Nothing fun like hallucinations.

When I have headaches (I had a big one today..rough day, lol) what I do is take Extra strength advil gel caps and chase it down with a cup of STRONG coffee. It really works for me. When my gf gets a migraine, what I usually do is put a warm cloth over her head and give her a massage at the base of her skull...it makes her feel better and puts her to sleep (and hurts my hands the next day!).

Just some suggestions for you.

I feel for you though...I've gotten headaches since I was a kid, and I absolutely hate people who go their whole life with one or two headaches. GRRRRR. Do you have any idea what causes your headaches...is it a migraine, a stress headache, etc? Do you get them often?

24. Yeah, usually Advil and some super strong Darjeeling works but not this

time. I mean, I'll put two or three teabags in and let it steep for half an hour kind of strong.

I get sinus headaches fairly often, but today's actually a rare day with clear sinuses. I'm guessing this is a stress headache, because it showed up fairly soon after dealing with some really ridiculous family shit this afternoon and it's definitely not a sinus headache.

but they are a little easier to deal with than the sinus ones. Percs will help, obviously, but I'd also give a hot bath a try..it can relieve the stressed nerves in your back, and calm you down. Also, try to "slack-jaw" (loosen) your face...if you've ever gotten a headache from crying, its the squiching of the face that causes the the headaches.

Percs are a good alternative though. Just don't get to used to them, huh?
