I liked "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip"
Terrific show. I was looking forward to it...Aaron Sorkin, John Wells and Thomas Schlamme from "The West Wing" as well as a terrific cast. Didn't disappoint at all....good, crisp writing (I liked the references and homages to Paddy Chafeysky and "Network" in the opening). This is the best show of the season. NBC has a winner in this show.

1. Sorkin is a genius
I have no idea why I thought it would be anything short of great.

BTW- the house that they were having the dinner party in was the house of the doctor who everyone believes was the murderer in the "Black Dahlia" case.

2. Really?
Interesting information about the house. Thanks.

I think "Studio 60" may be even better than "The West Wing".

And I loved hearing Pat Robertson being slammed in that episode.

3. Yeah I saw a CBS 48 hours on it
I had never heard of it (much like Wonderland) as it is a West coast thing. The house looks like a Mayan pyramid from the street, comes complete with hidden room behind the bookcase.

the whole story of Elizabeth Short is made up by LA newspaper writers making a story out of a gruesome murder. The LA cops were notorious corrupt at the time and Dr.Hodel was well connected and rich.
