The part of your body that you hate the most
For me, it's my upper arms. I call them bat wings. They hang, and they're floppy. It makes it impossible for me to wear sleeveless shirts. If I could afford to have them nipped and tucked, it would be worth it. But I can't, so they continue to hang and flop and be the pain in the ass that they are.

What do you hate most about your own body?

1. My brain
Schizoaffective disorder requires that I take expensive medication for the rest of my life so that I can function sanely.

important to me. What's important to me is who they're attached to...

20. Nah, I got a really snotty response the one time I went in there and asked
if they had a particular bra in my size. As mall bra stores go, Fredericks has more stuff in my size by quite a bit.

I don't care so much about the boob thing itself, though I got a lot of grief for it when I was younger, it's more that it makes it a real pain to buy clothes, bras, etc. Finding an A cup nursing bra was a real pain in the ass, most of the specialty nursing bra makers make anywhere from a B on up to some enormous size like G or something, but no A cups. Finding shirts and dresses that don't rely on boobs I haven't got to hold them up in the front is a real pain in the ass too, with formals and other really tailored items I pretty much have to get something custom made.

22. Ohhhh...
I was at Target yesterday and they've got some reeeeaaaaally purty 'pretties' and in small sizes, too.

And WAY less expensive than Victoria's Secret.

25. Shhh, quiet with my bra hookup!
I get most of 'em there (they're one of the few places that routinely stocks a 36A, they even have some styles in a 38A) or at Big Lots, which is my favorite because I can get really expensive brands in discontinued styles for less than $5. Sometimes I find things I like at Ross or Marshalls too, but that's less frequent.

23. Jesus. You'd think that we, as a society, would have moved beyond that,
wouldn't you?

I'll just reiterate my position, and hope it makes your feel better about yourself: The only thing that counts is who they're attached to.

And I've always believed that.

43. I'm not exactly buxom, either, LOL, but you should meet my friend.
We met at camp when we were 12 and I knew her through high school. She had absolutely nothing and used to wear the undershirts that I still wore at night (I started wearing a bra at 12, but still wore undershirts to bed) when we got dressed up, since she had to wear something. We were about the same size, otherwise. Then I didn't see her again for a lot of years until she and another friend just called me out of the blue. I was so glad to see them both again and she hadn't changed, very pretty girl, but no bosom. It doesn't seem to have made any difference to her. She's confident and has done quite well. I'm a B, and I decided that, compared to her, I'm fortunate in that department. Bra size doesn't matter, anyway, it's who you are and what you think. And you're here on DU, so you must be doing pretty well.:-)

21. Awwwwww
You're sweet. 'Young' is relative, I suppose. But it seems like these days, it's more my relatives. I'll be 46 next month.

And, while there are some things that I don't like about myself physically and can't change, sadly there are some that I could with a little bit of effort and some discipline.

I'm sadly lacking in the discipline department, though. I've gotta get better about that, too.

I mean, I drink beer all the time, eat microwave popcorn, sit in bed all day watching TV/DUing the internet, supersize my fast food, and never leave a bag of chips unfinished, but nothing I do reduces this gut in the slightest!

24. My stomach always has some fat on it.
My arms, back, shoulders are all muscular. My legs are lean. I always have some belly fat though. It's still bikini ready but not how I would like it to be. Of course, if I exercised & drank less it'd go away, but that's no fun. It doesn't bother me that much.

Edited on Wed Sep-13-06 01:11 AM by Evoman
Look it up...I have an indentation in my chest. Its not that noticeable, since its a minor case (not as bad as the ones online) but its intefered with my weight-lifting. I find it very hard to put muscle on my chest, so the pecs tend to be outta sink with the rest of me. My shoulders and arms doubled in size the first year after I started working out (lol, since I'm an ectomorph, thats not saying much), but my chest...not even close. My doctor advised me to stay away from hard contact sport because of it (though its never been much of a problem).

On edit

This is what a more severe form looks like. Mine is not even close to as bad as this (having muscle really decreases the effect as well)
