So they're remastering the complete Star Trek original series
AND re-releasing it in syndication. My feelings on this are mixed- I hope they can clean the shows up and restore their quality, but if they fuck it up I'm getting my phaser out and kicking some ass.

the prices on them drop...I still see them retailing for 90 bucks plus...thats a bit to steep for me.

4. I think they're doing it 'cause this is the first time in 18 years
there are no active Trek-based projects in the works. They just don't want it to disappear.

It's a money thing, IMO.

3. But I like the cheesy low budget effects
I guess it's a good thing I have the whole series on DVD now. I'm kinda afraid that somebody at Paramount might have gone a bit technology happy and mucked it up George Lucas style.
