10. Thanks
Need a little teasing but it was a bummer because I had like 15$ in my wallet after tips, and I only had 9 plus the damn vending machine ate my money. Fortunely I got my pay check.

11. Join FOL.
If you have a "Friends Of the Library" group, join. They help raise funds, run book sales, etc.
We did a few years ago.
Now we know all the library staff and if I'm late with a book they just say "That's OK."
Nice to have friends in authority.

Hmmm...sounds like a group of liberal "Persons of Interest" to me...

people who go to libraries are looking to read...

people who can read are usually liberal...

liberals usually question the present Authority...

therefore...you are all "Persons of Interest"

15. GITMO
Nice place. Twelve string guitars, romantic moonlighted nights, flamenco dancers, Cuba Libres with thick juicy lime slices. I take book with me.

16. Volunteer your wonderful narrative skills!
As a librarian myself, I know they are more concerned, way more concerned, with the book than the fine. Perhaps you could volunteer to read one of your wonderful stories for the kids (and/or, the adults) again--I bet they'd jump at that.

Once again, you have made my day!
