of what was found here in the Pacific Northwest - maybe due to the number of grey days here. Silver cars get hit more. My higher insurance rates show this. x(

4. I noticed that people did not see my silver car
It would pick up the colors of the sky or the grass and blend right in to the scenery. People pulled out in front of me. I could tell from their startled expressions that they did not see me. So I bought a white car next time.

5. You'd think red cars would be the safest for accidents
But then you realize that most people with red cars tend to go about 72 thousand miles per hour, on average.

Plus, cops are more likely to pull over red cars, even if the driver is only doing 170.

6. SUV's are safest
j/k

I have a silver car but it has a greenish tinge to it. Never been hit yet.

8. If you can avoid young, male Republican businessmen
driving "previously owned" low-to-mid-level BMW's that didn't cost them nearly as much as they'd like to think we think they did, you stand a much better chance of not getting in an accident.

At least that's been my experience. Who regularly cuts me off? Who can't be bothered to signal? Who tailgates me? Who drives 70 in a 35m.p.h-zone? Too often, it's the gent I just described.
