22. Cool ! I used to have an Oscar 12" long named Gollum

and a Pacu

(not my fish just one for those who have no idea what a Pacu is)
side note: these fish are aggressive and grow really Big!..To big in my opinion to be sold as pets since they will out grow most Fish tanks..II miss my Oscar..I buried him in a creek by my house when he died...He was a good fish!
Oh and I have 3 cats!

24. Yeah, I think fish like Pacus, red-tailed catfish & arowanas shouldn't be

sold in the average pet shop. I see those things at Petland discounts getting sold by kids saying that they just grow to the size of the tank. I get all my fish from a local guy who specializes in Cichlids (African mostly, which is what I keep). He'll sell the BIG fish, but he also won't sell them to anybody who can't take care of them. I've seen him turn down sales because the person couldn't care for the fish properly.

The other day on craigslist I saw someone selling a trio of baby pirahnas in a 10gallon for $150. Of course, those baby pirahnas will need a 75g in short order.

25. Cichlids are pretty cool fish

I have always love the Betas (Siamese Fighting fish) I know in nature they are a brownish green and not very pretty.
But the breeders have done a hell of a job breeding Beautiful colorful Fighting fish!
I had 6 at one time...I never let them fight FYI.

27. Yeah, all the small tanks are betta tanks.

Even the females are pretty, just without the long fins. I have a 3 gallon in my bedroom with 2 female bettas and a couple cory cats.

I mean The fish made the nest.But no fish action happened.

It's a pain in the ass when you have to start splitting the babies up into their seperate jars.

In my old cichlid tank, I had a few species that would breed constantly. In the current tank, only the yellow labs are breeding. I'll have to go trade in the babies soon, because they're about an inch long. About 10 of them made it, their parents did a pretty good job of protecting them from the other fish in the tank. Now the babies are pretty much always out and about in the tank. No one's really bothering them, even though they're still snack size.
