Is it just me...or does the boomer generation contain the greatest amount

of musical talent than their previous or following generations? Hendrix, Joplin, Simon and Garfunkel, Chuck Berry, Crosby, Stills, and Nash, etc...or I am mistaken?

Now unless you play radio-friendly commercial pap, you really have to struggle to find your portion of a much smaller audience. It doesn't mean there are any fewer talented musicians in today's crop of young people, only that they're much harder to hear.

I doubt any generation will ever equal the musical talent in the black community alone during and immediately after WW II, not all of whom received the respect they deserved.

are as good or better than the people you've listed (who are quite impressive in their own right) and that's without any thought.
