I'm doing a funk music feature and want to know how deep you are into the music. Are you a funkateer? A musician? If so, I'd like to interview you for the film. Or have our guy Rickey Vincent do the honors. We have a DC leg if that's where you herald (noted Chocolate City in your profile) and could schedule you in.

The fans are central to this story, so I'm scrounging up first-hand accounts from all over the world. Lots of good stuff from Holland, Germany, France, Japan and the U.K.

This is a serious request. We've been in development for a year and have all the major players locked.

Hailing from New Orleans, I am a die-hard devotee to funk, and particularly the New Orleans brand.

George Porter, Jr, Leo Nocentelli, and Zigaboo Modeliste are household names at my house. I travel far and wide to hear bands like Chocolate Milk or Tower of Power. Galactic and any other band Stanton Moore plays in are among my favorite newer funk bands.

Tell me more about your article if you can. I can also put you in touch with some of the most die-hard funk fans in the Big Easy if you would like.
