My friends husband will be home tonight from Iraq.
He has been gone for 11 months and has to go back after the first of the year. But for the next 2 weeks they will be together.
I am so grateful he is safe for now. I don't know how she will be able to say good-bye again.
By the way, they both hate bush.

1. I hope they have fabulous holidays
At least, they'll be together for a while. See if you can get them to come on DU and say "hi."

3. Somehow I don't think spending time on the computer will be their
first choice on how to spend their time. ;-)
I think they have done some lurking on DU.
I got her Kucinich's book for Christmas and she was really excited. I gave it to her today, she said she probably would not start reading it until January.

5. Great news!
I'm happy for your friend, she must be so excited. Just do them a favor and don't call her tonight, I'm sure they'll have other things on their mind, lol!

7. I don't plan on bothering them at all.
They have my number if they want to call me.
