How to get drunk without ingesting alcohol - a personal guide!

My life has been WAAAAYYYYY too intesting lately.

Earlier in the week, I stepped on a bumblebee, who was none too amused to be stepped on, so I got stung in the foot. Well, I had an allergic reaction and ended up in the ER getting taken care of. It was not a life threatening reaction, but I did have some shortness of breath and major breakouts of hives.

Doctor and I discussed whether or not to give me the epinephrine, and we decided against it. But while I was in the ER, the doctor gave me IV SoluMedrol and IV Benadryl.

Word to the wise, do not attempt anything requiring any kind of manual dexterity, etc etc etc, while under the influence of IV Benadryl...

I was frigging looped!

Sorry this happened to you!

While no epinephrine this time, hope you got a sting kit.

My first hubby was allergic, broke out in hives, with each sting reaction worse than the one before. It took him being stung while surfing off of Maui and his throat starting to close up that finally convinced him to have a sting kit on hand.
