4. I was verbally assaulted by a Shriner clown named Bucko.

He was a very unstable clown.

6. I was protesting the circus with a local animal rights group and...

we were actually very low key and quite until Bucko showed up. The protest had a permit, we had a small banner and we were handing out flier to the adults. We had stuff for the kids, but only if the parents gave permission (a lot did, but if not we were cool with it). Anyway, Bucko came up to us screaming saying that we were spreading lies (they had been in legal trouble for animal cruelty). So when we rebutted him, he started flipping out since we didn't personally see the cruelty, then we don't know if the charges were blown out of proportion etc. Bucko was OUT OF CONTROL and obviously scaring the shit out of the kids. The kids basically saw us being the nice people with stickers and this CLOWN was YELLING at us. One of the cops that was stationed to make sure we stayed in line, eventually had to escort Bucko away.

The funny thing is Bucko helped our cause more than he could ever imagine. I'm sure he traumatized many a child that day.
