Just in case, this isn't just BS, do you have a plan?
Like if you're at work, and your spouse is at work, do you have a plan of how to get to each other if all hell breaks loose? If you have to get to, say, the next town over to your parents' house to be safe and can't drive, how are you going to do it? I know this sounds like paranoid ramblings, but Skip and I spend a lot of time together, conversation lags, and if we don't make up shit to talk about, it gets awfully quiet in this place. So, what's your plan? Please share.

1. It's not paranoid. Here in earthquake country....
....most of us have emergency plans for where to go, how to contact each other, etc. Even outside of California, such plans are never a bad idea.

2. Yes. All hell breaks loose, I stay put.
I tend to the animals here, and my partner/roomie gets the hell out. One of us has to live through it.

A better plan is forthcoming. Next year won't be the same.

3. I have no plan whatsoever
No matter how well I plan, something I did not anticipate happens instead. I cannot control the uncontrollable in my personal life so I don't even try.

4. Nope
no plan. Whatever will happen, will happen. Not too worried about it.

5. No plan.
You can't predict where you'll be when or if "all hell breaks loose," or what kind of hell that might be. I can't drive myself worrying about something I can't foresee, so beyond the usual stuff I've always kept around in the event of bad weather or power outages, I'm not doing anything.

6. Not really.
If it floods (the only real concern here, disaster-wise) I load up the kid and the cat and go someplace that's not flooded. Anything else would be rather unforseen, so I'd play it by ear. People who need to know how to reach me, and if the phones aren't working or I can't check my email it won't kill anybody to wait a day or three. The only real concern would be meeting up with LeftyDad if he had the kid, but I trust him to care for him until that would be possible, so I don't worry about it.

7. I live in the mountains. I have bear plans, moose plans,
cyote plans and blizzard plans. Other than that, I don't give a shit.

8. I only have a plan for a tornado warning.
After that, I'll worry about it only when the situation rises.

9. Well, I don't have a spouse or an SO or
anything like that, so I guess I don't have to worry about it. Looks like I'd be on my own, as usual.
