Poll question: Married With Children: Hilarious Satire or Harbringer of Anti-Feminism?

I tend to think this show was bloody brilliant satire, but I can see where some might take it as the harbringer for the anti-feminist trend that took over since.

1. I didn't like that the daughter was portrayed as stupid.
But then the 'Mallory'character on Family Ties was portrayed the exact same way. Stupid sister, smart (or at least shrewd) brother, what was up with that...

But I really, really like the portrayl of American nuclear family misery. Today all we get is Everybody Loves Raymond, which I loathe. I'd much rather watch "Married", at least it's more honest.

2. Um...you mean 'harbinger', no?
And I always thought of it as being a sort of 'All in the Family' for slack-jawed morons.
