exactly you called? A PD Texas...huh? Hey, don't let them make fun of your accent! And, don't be surprised, when you don't notice anybody talking differently anymore and....and, you get a draw-al!!! AAACK!! It happens to the best of us!

8. I hate to admit it but....
I would have probably been the 4th person you had to talk to. I would love to hear a Noo Yawk accent, we don't get much of that around here.

9. Accent?
What accent? Should've asked them to please repeat what they just said 'cause you couldn't quite make it out because of THEIR accent.

12. You're a better man than I...
(well...than I'd be if I was a man, that is)

I lived in Alabama for four years when I was growing up...left there with an accent you could cut with a dull knife. When we left there, I caught so much crap for it. I worked for a long time to lose it.

It still pops out every once in a while though when I get irritated and snarky enough.

15. Heh...too bad it doesn't get good unless I'm good
and pissed.

And you wouldn't like me when I'm pissed. No one does. Go figger.
