What is Santa bringing your pet(s)?
He is bringing two new cedar dog beds, new collars, some chew and tug-type toys, a couple of catnip toys and a new leash for the cat (don't laugh, please).

What's on your pet's 'Santa letter'? :)

Maybe a tube sock with a lacy collar? Or a nylon in some seductive color, for when she's in 'the mood'? :P

On edit: I would have suggested something slinky, but decided that that would be redundant...

8. I might have brought death to mine
2 of the 3 Electric Blues have died, the third constantly hiding (except when the're food) with the disease slowly spreading.

Started with one fish with a cloud eye. Then both the remaining fish started getting grey areas on the top fin, with one of the two having its left eye circled by gray.

The remaining fish still look in good health and I'm treating the tank, but I worry that the disease (presumably bacterial) will spread to them. :scared:

11. my cat is getting
a catnip stocking, a whole bunch of new cardboard scratchers and several weeks worth of her favorite food, Special Kitty from Walmart. I know many of you hate Wal Mart, but my cat loves the stuff. And she owns me, you know.

Anyone who thinks you 'own' a cat (giggle) has obviously never lived with one..:P

13. Snow, snow, and more snow.
Nothing I could give the dogs is as much fun for them as more snow. :)

Which is fortunate, because I'm a cheapskate.

15. Santa will bring my bird, Grace, some new toys
with lots of leather pieces on them for her chewing pleasure. She may be a tiny bird, but she has a strong beak, and whenever she gets a new toy, her mission is to see how quickly she can take it apart and destroy it. She'll untie the knots in the rawhide (or chew right through it) and then pull the beads off the toy. I think she'll like a toy I saw that has pieces of leather hanging from it.

19. Wow, Olive has never destroyed a toy...
unless you consider untying knots "destruction."

She's a parrotlet, yes, but I don't think she knows how to bite. I've been bitten by Pacifics, a couple have even drawn blood. But Olive never learned.

Oh, yes, she'll puff up like a badass; and she'll yell -- but when she tries to bite, it tickles.

On topic, we'll probably just get Olive and Logos food. They really like food.

16. My daughter had us draw names for our pets.
We have four pets (two cats, a dog and a guinea pig) and four family members. We each drew a name and now have to get our pet a present.

Aren't kids and their pets the cutest thing going?

17. A couple of new catnip toys
They keep batting them under the sofa, and I have to fish them out with a broom handle. SOteric has had just about enough of that, so, I'm making a long, flannel, snakey-looking thing to block the area under the sofa. - That's their gift, too.

And they're each getting a new set of id tags, and brand new grooming brushes. There'll be shrimp treats for StirFry, and Salmon treats for Romeo (because these are their individual preferences). And I'll likely make a bit of homemade fish stock and some giblet broth to pour over their kibble.
