What Kind of American English Do You Speak?
Yes, it's another Blogthings poll, but this one seems interesting. Click here (without reading other people's responses, just to keep it semi-scientific) to see what knd of American English you speak, then come back and give us the answers.

I'd've been only 30% Southern, but they didn't have a question about "sorsages".

Pretty much what I expected. I have a slight southern accent (I've lived in the South all my life), but my dad's a Yankee. I picked a lot of stuff up from him.

Not too surprising... I live in the south and speak with a moderate southern accent, but I don't use some typical southern expressions (I don't call all soft drinks "Cokes", etc.) "Y'all" does roll off the tongue very easily, though...

Oh yeah, and the term that most of the people around here use for toilet papering a house that I never see on these sorts of quizzes is "wrapping." Maybe that's a regional thing, or maybe it's just an uncommon expression; I'm not sure.
