Stupid computer question
My hard drive is getting full. I want to burn some of the movies I have on my HD to DVDs to clear up space, but when I drag and drop them I get an error message. Should I be using a specific program or something? I've had this lappie almost 6 mos but haven't played with the burner until now.

1. I had that problem with a cdrw once and it turned out
that I used one software program to format the blank cdrw and another to (try to) do the actual burning. It wouldn't let me. I had to reformat it using the same program I was going to use to write to the disk. Dunno if that helps. Hope it does.

2. Did a buring program come with the computer?
Somewhere in the Start menu? Otherwise check out Nero.
