2. uh...I thought we were animals...you know
Edited on Wed Jul-19-06 08:08 AM by wildhorses
top of the food chain...

actually, I am reminded of this song...

I'm not aware of too many things
I know what I know if you know what I mean

Philosophy, is the talk on a cereal box
Religion, is a smile on a dog
I'm not aware of too many things
i know what I know if you know what I mean

Choke me in the shallow water
Before I get too deep

What I am is what I am are you what you are or what
What I am is what I am are you what you are or what

Oh I'm not aware of too many things
I know what I know if you know what I mean

Philosophy, is a walk on the slippery rocks
Religion, is a light in the fog
I'm not aware of too many things
I know what I know if you know what I mean
Do do ya

Choke me in the shallow water
Before I get too deep
Chuck me in the shallow water
Before I get too deep

What I am is what I am are you what you are or what
What I am is what I am are you what you are or what
What I am is what I am are you what you are or what you are
What I am is what I am are you what you are or what

Da da da da
I say I say I say I do hey hey hey hey hey hey

Choke me in the shallow water
Before I get too deep
Chuck me in the shallow water
Before I get too deep

Choke me in the shallow water before I get too deep
Choke me in the shallow water before I get too deep
Choke me in the shallow water before I get too deep

Don't let me get too deep
Don't let me get too deep
Don't let me get too deep
Don't let me get too deep

What I am is what I am are you what you are or what
What I am is what I am are you what you are or what
What I am is what I am are you what you are or what you are
What I am is what I am are you what you are or what

Or what you are oh
Or what you are oh oh oh
Say what I am

7. Man oh man do I hate that song, wah-wah pedal or no
Overpraised for its pseudodepth then and now.

Of course, it still outshines Britney's glorious wisdom by a fair margin...

12. Thanks--I'm a master of pseudoeloquence
I think that I'm sensitized to that song because I have a good friend who thinks it's just the bees' knees.

But he's not insane, honestly!

20. That was always my opinion of the song, too. But she, like Britney
was very young when she wrote that. I don't blame her, I blame the people who validated it by buying it!

13. Actually, she misquotes Blake.
It was spelled "tyger" in the original poem.

9. What a fucking idiot. Her use of the word "you" instead of "one" or "me"
only belies her utter ignorance; not to mention her claim that we hunger for lust certainly shows us that all she cares about is getting Federline balls deep into her spraying his filthy seed into her unholy womb.

What a #(*&%&$#($%*#(%.

14. Animals have lust?
Is "lust" the right word for biological urges?

I mean I get the whole thing about being driven to mate and all that... but is "lust" the word for that?

Maybe it is. I guess I thought that lust was not simply a biological urge. No sweat if I'm wrong about that.

27. Someone needs to counsel her.
She is obviously a very stupid person. But reminding us of that is not something she should be doing.
