:blush: They know more science than I do.

But as jobycom said, "Who cares about their facts, they get to blow stuff up!!" :bounce:

3. Oh, no. No one's ruining it for me.
And like I said, I learn stuff. Plus, I don't understand a lot, but I can often tell when something IS bullshit or MIGHT be wrong.

I also know when something is clearly wrong - like them saying the Hindenburg usually used helium. :eyes:

But fun is why I watch it. I usually laugh my head off every show.

:hi:

2. I think it's a wonderful show for showing how
the scientific method works...see something or hear about something and wonder what would happen IF;

then set it up to try to find out. The science may be lacking in some areas but the METHOD is getting through to kids in spite of the dominionists insistance that it be dumbed down or disregarded.

4. "the method is getting through . . . despite" dumbing-down
Hear, hear. Ever since Proposition 13 passed in California - gutting the public schools' resources for art, music, lab equipment, etc. - I have held this point of view.

It's all about money and it makes me sick. Just look at the WH. We finally have a Lowest Common Denominator president. :eyes:

It will get worse if the creationists have their way.

But another thing I love about Mythbusters is they show that what you WANT the results to be isn't necessarily the way it will happen.
