Firefox users: help an IE guy with annoying issues.
I like Firefox but two annoyances prevent me from using it full time.

The first is the scrooling rate. The vertical scroll using my scroll mouse is very slow. Sometimes that rate is adjustable. In Firefox I have not found anyway to adjust it.

The second is an annoyance that Firefox has with all of the Netscape-type brousers. When I click a link, I often have to click it twice. I click it and nothing happens. That is a major pain because a one click link should only have to take one click.

The above issues never occur with IE. Any suggestions?

2. Perhaps this extension will help with the scrolling problem:
Smooth Wheel

I have used this extension for several years and so far it has worked as its name implies - scrolling is a lot, well, smoother.

I wish I could help with the link-clicking issue - perhaps someone with more experience with Netscape browsers can.

4. That is an interesting add-on
It did help, but it's not a cure. Scrolling in any program, IE, OE, Word, Autocad, is all the same. Only Firefox has this issue where the scroll rate is so damn slow. And there is no way to change it. The Smooth Wheel thing is not quite a cure, but it does help. Thanks!

The clicking link issue remains, is annoying as hell, and should not be. It's a bug, and one that all Netscape-type browsers have had for years regardless of version or OS. Odd.

6. My scrolling speed
in Firefox is no slower (or faster) than in any of my other programs. Could this be something unique to your PC?
