Help me with my daughter's wisdom teeth!

She had her wisdom teeth out yesterday. She used cold packs for the first day but not today. She can't take the Tylenol 3 the dentist prescribed but has been taking ibuprofen instead. Right now her gums and cheeks are really swollen and painful. Any suggestions? She doesn't want to try teething gel which is the only thing I can think of at this point.
