On a related note, I have a friend who saw Roky Erickson play an outside stage at SXSW a couple years ago. She remarked the beauty of the moment when Roky played "Two Headed Dog" while Karl Rove was eating barbecue in an open-windowed restaurant adjacent to the stage.
