Your thoughts on Suicide (the music group).
Despite hearing their name tossed around for years, I never actually heard their music until I found a copy of their first CD at my local library. Interesting stuff. I can see how they were a major influence on a great many artists.

footnote- they were allegedly the first group to coin the phrase "punk rock"

3. Ahead of their time.
I mean, just calling themselves "Suicide," c'mon. Download "Dream Baby Dream."

4. I never got it, myself.
People praise that band to the stratosphere, but I find them boring as all hell. Even in the context of the times, there was way more radical stuff happening than Suicide.

7. Slayer still rules.
I think they were probably better than when I saw them in '88.
