Yes, many women and children are beaten after the abuser has smoked weed.
I do know that does not stop abuse and in some ways can further abuse because of
unrealistic thinking, lack of motivation to do something more positive, and I've
observed a nervous hysteria when some people couldn't get their hands on weed.
This response is not made from observation of one person, but many in my lifetime.
My children and I are all the proof I need.

I don't think pot should be illegal, either, but this glorification of it is silly. I had a brother, thankfully dead, who raped several women, beat his wife and kid, pimped his wife, robbed convenience stores, and no telling what else while he was high on pot. Not that he was any better drunk, sober or smashed on LSD. But pot didn't make him a better person, and I saw first hand that it made his moods more violent, or at least supressed the little self-control he had.
