When I was growing up in Ohio we called them crayfish. Ans we did not eat them.

But I'm not as crazy about them as the people who grew up eating them are. I eat them about once a season. To me it's a whole lot of trouble for not a lot of meat.

not that there is any form of crustacean I'd eat :puke:

They're just aquatic bugs...why would anyone want to eat bugs?

(no offense intended to anyone whose diet consists partially of bugs)
