My 100th post!
Yes it has taken 14 months but I made it! At this rate it will be years before I hit 1000!! I want to thank everyone who refrains from the name calling of low post members. It can be a real trial sometimes. Thank you.

While I am here I will pass on my worldly advice. "Have some fun, everyday!" your brain deserves it! It's not too deep but it does seem to help in these troubled times.
Peace, Kim

2. Congrats
from someone who is always running off at the mouth! :)

Doing something to make you happy each day is good for your health! Lowers stress, which can really help with a lot of health problems!

Don't worry-be happy!

3. Congrats Kim! I agree,
"Have some fun, everyday!", even if just laughing at yourself.

Laughter truly is good medicine.

4. It took me longer than 14 months to figure out how to even post.
And I definitely plan to 'Have some fun' today. And I will do so tomorrow and each consecutive day, as well.

5. Its always good to know we have another member
who honestly feels as we do. In numbers we are strong and through that strength we will win this battle for our country.

6. Not to worry 'bout low post count. There are trolls out there with
high post counts. I've watched a couple build the post count until it passes the magic 1000 point before showing their true colors. Monitoring one right now!

Lots of short replies, some with a simple . in the subject line.

Quality trumps quantity any day.

8. Congratulations.
I can remember when my post count was small - it seemed like I'd never get anywhere, and I could never understand how people had got even over 1,000...the rest, as they say, is history.

10. Congratulations!
My own post numbers have also risen slowly, but as mentioned above it's quality, not quantity, that matters. And BTW, don't let anyone bash you for a low post count. DU has rules against that sort of thing. Specifically:

Do not draw negative attention to the fact that someone is new, has a low post count, or recently became a member of Democratic Underground. Do not insinuate that because someone is new, they are a troll or disruptor.

Great to have you here! :toast:
