All the small mom and pop places tremble before the might of the hospitaliano monolith!

3. And some day we can end starvation in the world by building...
Olive Gardens in poor countries and the bounty of endless breadsticks and salad will nourish the people of the earth.

4. Ya know, in Arkansas you have little choice with Italian.
Olive Garden is one of the few. I can understand the New Yorkers. They have a better variety.

10. McDonald's, Wendy's, Burger King, Boston's, TGI Fridays,

Applebees, Chili's, Taco Bell, all the usual Pizza suspects, KFC, etc. No Olive Garden, and the biggest disappointment to my husband, no Krispy Kreme. Most of the good restaurants here in Anchorage, and we have quite a few, are locally owned.

Oh, and Denny's, of course.

12. Right, STOP THAT! It's SILLY!

Very SILLY indeed! Started off as a nice little idea about invasive species attacking the American South, but now it's just got SILLY! That thread got way too long too, and you can tell that's not proper Italian! CLEAR OUT, THE LOT OF YOU!
