When I was 10 in northcentral Montana, my parents used to let me stay up until midnight on Fridays to watch the LA T-Birds on cable TV.

Now there are all these do-it-yourself Roller Derby leagues springing up around the country. Very exciting.

The Heartless Heathers remain undefeated after a very physical match against the Breakneck Betties.

And Booty Trap, my favorite blocker from the High Rollers actually sent a jammer from the Guns 'n' Rollers straight off of the track with a check from her formidable hips.

Next match here is July 8, and I might see a Portland vs. Seattle match the following week, since I will be in Seattle already for a wedding that weekend.
