Did you ever have a bunch of people show up and think that you could get by with slamming some chicken on the grill, whip up a side, and still have time to visit? Well, my problem was that I didn't have any prepared sauces or marinades on hand. So I stared into my pantry and then I had an idea. Well, I cheated. I took a jar of Aldi's Peach-Passionfruit preserves and a bottle of Thai sweet chili sauce and mixed about 1/2 c. of the chili sauce in to the preserves and pureed them. When that mixture was smooth, I added a couple of tablespoons of ketchup and blended. Salt & pepper on the chicken pieces and onto the grill. Cook slowly through, turning frequently so not to burn. Last 15 minutes sauce with this mixture a couple of times on each side, turning frequently. Best darned grilled chicken I've had in a long time. Sweet, sour, and with a little fire to it.

For the vegetarians, bet it would go great on a bocaburger too.
