1. That's odd. It's completely dark here.
Of course, that's because it's midnight. :silly:

3. My dear yvr girl......
Lucky you!

It is completely dark here, even though we're in the same time zone...

But I am much closer to the equator than you....so our days are shorter than yours....

Of course, in the winter, your nights are much longer than ours....

I guess it all evens out, after all....

Nice to see you tonight.....

How's things?

:loveya:

8. No news yet.....
As I had suspected, the doctor's office was closed.....

So I will call tomorrow to get the results from the specimen I gave....

And then hopefully we will know more....

Thanks, sweetie.....

17. Then it's all down hill.
Put the kid in bed last night, cut off the lights and she says...But it's still light outside.

Camp fires can't be any fun if it's still light outside at 10pm.

9. It won't start getting dark
till 11pm here. :bounce:

When I lived up in Ft McMurray, sundown (well, darker twilight) at midnight, sunrise at 3:30am.

10. It's dark here in AZ by 8 pm.
And I'm thankful when the night comes because the temps drop.... a little.

12. You don't have daylight savings time.
What time does the sun rise? Around 5 AM?

13. Close... 5:20am
It's too bright to sleep late in the summer. But that's ok. I like getting up early to do yardwork while it's still bearable outside.

111 degrees predicted by this weekend! ouch! hot!

for that kind of heat!

Feel free to use the smilie! (just right click it and save the address to your photobucket account) You need it more than I do.

11. I had to check where you are.
I'm in Seattle and our days are almost as long.
Have you spent a winter in Vancouver? Doesn't the sun go down about 3:40 PM or so in the afternoon around the winter solstice?
I haven't made up my mind whether the long summer days really make up for the short dark days of winter.
