Teacher shows up for work drunk
http://www.cnn.com/2006/US/05/24/teacher.drinking.ap/index.html

After arriving at school Monday morning, police said Johnson asked a student to retrieve a bag containing a bottle of cognac from his car. Police then said Johnson rubbed the buttocks and thigh of a 13-year-old girl and directed a sexual remark at another 13-year-old girl.

I know I'm going to hell for this, but I'm finding the combination of his name and his crime to be rather hilarious. "Hey, wanna see my sterling johnson?"

Of course, he needs to be dealt with. I just find the name adds a funny twist to this story of unfortunate sickness.

1. My science teacher in 7th grade did that.
Came to school drunk, hit on the girls.

Yeah, he got fired.

2. Yes, you probably are, but then so am I
His full name is Sterling Johnson. I think his first name adds to the absurdity.

4. Yes, I know - that's what's so funny.
and why I said, "Hey, wanna see my sterling johnson?"

Too bad his middle name isn't Hugh or Woody.

8. My English teacher was fired for drinking in her car before school
My classmate saw her drinking a beer at 7:30 in the freakin' morning! :puke:

She acted "odd" several times in class but we just assumed she was eccentric. Turns out she was just drunk a lot.

If you can't make a teacher drink on the job, then you're not doing your job as a teenager. :D

10. Here's my story on that.
I had a teacher when I was in 4th grade - her name was Mrs. Medved and she was 99 thousand years old.

On the last day of school, she came to work drunk. This was a Catholic school, so in the guilt-inducing fashion for which they are famous, they made her sit on the main stairway (which ran up through the center of the entire building and couldn't be missed by anyone moving about the school), while she puked her guts out.

I'll never forget it.

11. My 9th grade physical science teacher hit rock bottom with us
He looked like death warmed over, came out of his office one afternoon and said, "I'm an alcoholic and I've been up drunk for 3 days. I am going to get help. I will be out of class for a while. I'd appreciate your prayers."

Brave guy. Mr. Kearse where ever you are, you did the right thing.

19. Oh I've been up for three days.
It just wasn't on alcohol. Well, there was some alcohol involved, it just wasn't the main factor.

24. I did that once.
Showed up at work drunk.

When I worked at the grocery store overnight, I showed up drunk. I headed straight to work from the bar on a Friday night. No one noticed because I was alone most of the time, away from customers and my coworkers.

It made the job more tolerable, that's for sure.
