like Phd or MD, but different.

20. Yes JD is juris doctor
but they use ld as well. Husband is a lawyer and I looked it up to make sure. I believe jd is used more often tho. I think LD is used more for licenced diatician from what I looked up.

Around here (Minnesota) they seem to use RD. I have never seen LD before.
