I need some big-time help from any computer experts.
Edited on Tue May-23-06 10:27 AM by Archae
I have a spyware program, called "XerOx."

If I delete it using SpyBot, it leaves a .ZIP file, which I delete immediately.

But every damn time I reboot, that fucking "XerOx" comes back.

Any ideas on how to delete it, PERMANENTLY?

2. you have to delete it from the registry in safe mode
Which can be a complex and dangerous thing if you do it wrong.

You should consider getting an experienced computer person to help you with this or reinstall.

If you ever do get it cleared, NEVER used Internet Explorer again, get Mozilla.

5. What LSK said.
That's what I had to do the last time something similar happened to me.

Download and run Bazooka. If it detects it, it'll give you exactly what to do to remove it.

6. I'm not an expert, I don't even play one on tv, but,
I am getting pretty good at fighting these bugs. I can't stay out of the back alleys of the electronic hyway, so I've became somewhat proficient at killing these things. Go to this link http://ewido.net/en/ run the scan it will take care of anything, it's free, but well worth buying if you can.
