5. When we saw it for the first time
it was in the theater, and I was just taken aback by the sheer beauty of the scenes, from his painting in heaven to the shores of hell.

I still think it is an intensely gorgeous film...

2. I love that movie.
We watched it this morning. It's incredibly uplifting too. I love the thought of heaven being what you make it, and seeing the people we loved the most again. I also like the thought of someone trudging to hell and back to save eternity.

9. Such a powerful movie
Wow. I really love that movie but you're right - it's so sad. I can only watch it when I know I have plenty of time to break down emotionally. :cry:

And yet, it's full of hope, too, in an odd way. His determination to get through to the woman he loves is so incredible and the connection they have. You walk away from it hoping that you have someone in your life who would fight for you like that.
