4. You can get it on the mainland? I thought it was a Hawai'i thing

like saimin noodles or malasadas (think Portuguese beignets). I never heard of it 'til I came out here, about 5 years ago, as a mater of fact.

edit: Good for us! It's not like we have a hell of a lot of exports these days now that sugar and pineapple are mostly pau.
