Five years ago this weekend
Edited on Sun May-07-06 01:26 PM by lizziegrace
I traveled 600 miles with my car packed and came back to Ohio and have never looked back. I walked away from a bad marriage and into a life I'd never known. It's been rough. It's been lonely and I've had a terrible time letting my guard down in relationships but it's been worth every minute.

To moving on! :toast:

2. Congratulations!!
Your story sounds much like mine - left Vermont for sunny California 7 years ago. It was the best move I ever made. Here's to the guts to do what we need to. :toast:

3. I hope I also proved something to my teenage daughter
you always have options, even when you believe you don't.

4. A Road Similar To That One Also Leads From Florida To Virginia...
... I traveled that road about 18 years ago, so I know about where you are right now. Despite the apprehension, uncertainty, challenges (particularly the one about avoiding the same mistakes) and feeling lonely... everything works out. It gets easier and easier, and you'll be able to move forward with no regrets.

:toast: Good luck!
