South Park
I know there has been some uproar around here concerning South Park creators Stone and Parker's politics lately...especially after the Al Gore episode last week, which frankly didn't bother me, Istill think its one of the msot clever shows on TV ever...

but last nights episode was fucking hilarious...Cartman's mom gets the dog whisperer to come to her house...and basically he treated Cartman like he treats dogs and gets him to submit....I was fuckin rolling.

Anyone else think this was as funny as I did?

4. That episode was a RIOT!
"You must be the dominant one!"

"But what if he runs away?"
"Don't worry - it'll be back."

6. I loved it when
they were walking Cartman on the harness. He was running all over the place just like a dog does when they first learn how to walk on a leash.

I don't think I have ever laughed out loud so hard at the TV.

7. I'm not much of a fan, but I saw the Mormon episode the other night
and that one had me chuckling.

The musical version of Joseph Smith's life with the background singers going "dum dum dum dum dum" at the end of each line.

And you gradually realize that they're REALLY singing "dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb"

I have to admit.....I found it funny.....

8. Best episode in a while
I lost it when they brought in Ceaser Milan.

Funny thing is, if Eric Cartman was a real kid, that would be exactly the kind of treatment he needed. He would drive Nanny Jo over the edge, for sure.

I'm just waiting for someone to post on how SP now "glorifies" child abuse.

9. Yup
I would say that episode was in contention for the top five SP episodes IMHO

My other favorites:

The one where Mr Garrison invents the gyroscope wheel transport thing to beat the airlines.

The one where Stan's dad gets drunk and gets into fights at the kid's little leaugue games.

The one where Stans sister Shelly babysits Cartman and he tries to bust her for having her 20 something year old boyfriend Skyler over (Shelly is 12 years old)...also Cartman's cat has a cat orgy at the house and they are snorting catnip like cocaine.

The one where Cartman starts the christian rock band to try and get a platinum album

11. The Shelley-Cartman episode is part of a three-episode series
Centering on a meteor shower. I really liked those episodes.

10. This season has been a disappointment
MAJOR disappointment. There have been some good episodes, last night's especially, their political biases have totally ruined two episodes (the Prius episode and the Gore episode), and some others have been disappointment (Cartoon Wars, Oprah, the Return of Chef). Actually now that I've compiled a list, I think last night's was the only good episode this season. Cartoon Wars and The Return of Chef weren't terrible, but they didn't live up to their potential by any means.

Eric Cartman may in fact be the most complex and compelling character they can come up with: a completely despicable human being. Does this say something? Maybe?

Totally tasteless, crude and shocking! Loved it!
