Shouldn't have cleaned my keyboard

The action is totally different now that it's all nice and clean, and I shudder to think it's going to take me another couple of years to re-break it in. :P

1. I'm on my third keyboard in the last three years

The first one I rubbed all of the paint off the keys from typing so much. The second one was headed that way until it took a crap on me. The one I'm on now didn't work right until I rebooted my computer a few times. I thought I was going to have to buy another one.

7. I'm strange about it

I love hearing the sounds of the keys, and like to have one that is pleasing to my ear. Which usually aren't the $20 ones either...:rofl:

I got a nifty little spongy gizmo from Office Despot, kinda like old-time tape recorder head cleaner. It has little prongs that fit between the keys, and the cleaning solution actually seems to foam some of the stuff out. Problem is, I'll have to slam down on it pretty hard until it gets gunky again.

Too bad I trained the cats to not sit on the keyboard(s) under any circumstances... :P
