I miss having the Big Dawg in the White House!!
And all of a sudden there was footage of Hillary and Bill at the opening ceremonies of the Atlanta 96 Olympics. I remember watching them live, and feeling so happy that The Big Dawg was at the helm...sure there was a massive investigative clusterfuck after the bombing days later, but I just remember actually being proud, at that moment while watching live on that hot summer night, that we were okay...Bill Clinton was in the White House.

3. I took him for granted....
That's for sure.

He was my first crush. :love: When he was first on the political scene, I was in Elementary school and boy oh boy!!! I had a picture of him in my room as if he was a member of a boy band. I love him, and still do.:)

2. I still get sad...
when I hear Fleetwood Mac's "Don't Stop".

It used to make me feel so happy, now it just makes me miss President Clinton.

4. When Clinton looks like a golden god, it doesn't say much...
For what's going on now.

5. He was not and is not a golden god;
Just a man who cares deeply about the American people and tried to do the most good for the greatest number of people.

In that respect, he was one of the greatest Presidents ever. In any respect, he did just what the President ought to do.

His real and undeniable human failings look positively quaint next to the spectacular flaws, idiocy and incompetance of the man currently in the White House.
