It's going to depend on their performances each week. I'd say that Chris and Elliot are the ones who seem to be improving the most...Chris is becoming more diverse, Elliott is becoming more of an entertainer.

Taylor has the most charisma. Katherine and Paris both have terrific voices. Time will tell! :)

You know what's really weird? Many people post messages about how proud they are to be Christian and they condemn homosexuals ... what the f*ck does any of that have to do with a singing competiton? :shrug:

27. Katharine. (I just don't get the Taylor Hicks adoration.)

I always picture whether I could sit through an hour and a half of them performing, and just I can't do that with him.

Katharine's the whole package, IMO. She's a charming hottie, and she has the pipes to back it all up. She'll make some record company a good chunk of change, I'm sure.

Chris will probably win, though.

Big meaning the Whitney/Celine style crap.

I could see her creatively thriving in a mellow-jazz or cabaret style setting once she gets out of the Idol contract.

I have a feeling that if she does win AI that the production company's going to shoe-horn her into a standard pop format which doesn't seem to be her strong point.

Best voice hands down. I also like Chris Daughtry and to some extent Katharine McPhee.

I absolutely do not get the appeal of Elliot. The guy bores me to tears every week. I always find my mind wandering whenever he sings. He has absolutely no charisma - not even negative charisma, which would at least be interesting. To me, he's like a beige spot against a beige background. Every week I continue to be shocked when Paula cries over his performance or he gets a standing ovation. I just do not get it at all.

And we have selected our new VFTW candidate: Taylor Hicks! We even did our banner in grayscale as a tribute to our new pick! Why have we picked Taylor? Well, this show is not made for Taylor Hicks. He shouldn't be singing songs from the 21st century or be limited to Idol's cheesy song catalog. That's not his style, and I'm sure he joined the competition to try to bring something different. The producers don't want something different though, and it's obvious that they're breaking his spirit, even going as far as to make him change his song at this last minute last week because they didn't see "Try a Little Tenderness" as a love song. What? That doesn't even make sense. Tay-Tay is also incredibly VFTW because he either goes all out and acts crazy to entertain us (remember him missing the mike stand during "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" anyone?) or he phones in his performances while looking bored ("Just Once", "Country Roads Take Me Home"). Simon Cowell also hates Taylor, as is evidenced by his reaction at his audition and his reaction each and every week. Simon wants Taylor out now, because he can't stand to promote someone so unmarketable. So what do we say? Stick it to the show and vote for Taylor! He has the Soul Patrol, and now he has us, the Asshole Patrol! Hopefully we can work together to help Taylor win this thing!

P.S. If you would like to bitch about this pick, make sure you write to us with lots of words spelled wrong and use CAPITAL LETTERS and lots of exclamation points. We will take you much more seriously.

She is just a little pop fem-bot.

Taylor is arguably the most entertaining, but hardly the best vocalist.

Paris is cute and talented, but she belongs on the Disney Channel.

Elliot is the best vocalist, but I don't think he'll make it because he has a wimp factor if he's up against Chris.

I think Chris will win! We need an alt rock winner for a change.

I'll give her credit for being a very very good singer and a beautiful girl. But I find her incredibly phony. It's like everything she does is calculated; there's nothing about her performances that are in the least bit natural. IMHO.

Personally, if it were my decision, I'd pick Paris. However, that's not likely.

My second choice would be Chris, followed by Taylor, then Elliot, then Katharine.

I think the final will be Katharine against either Taylor or Chris.
