Whiskeytown and Ryan Adams - Musical Genius or Sad Bastard?

I like most of their/his music which is somewhat surprising because the closest thing I had to 'country music' before that was Uncle Tupelo.

Ryan Adams - Heartbreaker is my least favorite of the lot. I've got the new one called 'Rock and Roll' but I haven't played it yet.

does nothing for me. I probably have an extra poor attitude about him because of that song he did about New York that got played every 3 minutes in the fall of 2001.

2. Did you hear any of the Whiskeytown albums?

I think I like them more than the solo stuff in the grand scheme of things. But I guess he really WAS Whiskeytown for the most part.:shrug:
