Bizkit booed unmercifully in Chicago
http://www.suntimes.com/output/rock/cst-ftr-metal28.htm...

It was easy to predict a rough reception for the rap-rock has-beens when a significant segment of the crowd booed a mention of the band by previous openers Linkin Park. When Limp Bizkit actually appeared around 7 o'clock, the boos intensified, and some fans pelted the stage with garbage.

5. Does this mean the clock has run out on Durst's 15 minutes?

Maybe his deal with the devil has expired...whatever...

7. He's wears his hat backwards which is like so cool
and so freaking original, no one else does that.

His 15 minutes were up 3 years ago.

6. That's excellent.....nobody to blame but himself for Durst....
Honestly his ego and big mouth and all around stupidity did him and his band in. I've been hoping that the chickens were going to come home to roost and it looks like it's happened.

8. I saw Limp Bizkit and it was pretty good
About 4 years ago I saw Limp Bizkit. They were pretty good actually, no booing or anything. I dont see why they did this.

Didnt Fred Durst rip on Bush at one time? I wonder if this is another Dixie Chicks kind of thing.

9. I'm skipping the Metallica tour for precisely that reason
Didn't think I could make it through both Linkin Park and Lame Pigzit without killing someone. Durst isn't even marginally talented.

10. Durst's problem
Durst's problem is he equates being an asshole with being shocking.

Big news, Freddy, after the Sex Pistols and Iggy, your schtick is nothing new.

13. I've heard that Durst is a winger
And he never dug on Bush - he just said that he hope that the war thing would "blow over" or something like that, and the wingnuts interpreted it that way.

Slutney Spears supported Dumbya's oil war, though.
