Lieberman takes on issue more important than War or the Economy

An attack on junk food is what our brave Senator from Conn. has in store. The Republicans tremble in anticipation of the frontal attack from Sen. Lieberman, whose attacks on Hollywood in the past have resulted in the studios caving completely and only issuing G and PG films.

1. Lieberman is an asshole!

I've disliked Lieberman ever since he ran against Senator Lowell Weicker (the last truly liberal Republican, IMHO) in 1988, and beat the incumbent through a series of sleazy, mean-spirited, and misleading attack ads.

In the intervening fifteen years, my loathing for Holy Joe has grown
increasingly bilious. What can you say about a man who was offered the chance to run for vice-president, but insisted on simultaenously running for re-election to the Senate? If Gore had become president, Lieberman's selfishness would have risked giving control of the Senate to the GOP. (Granted, they got it anyway, but that's a whole other tirade.)

... someone took on the evil donut lobby. It has been their plan for years to enslave our schoolchildren with the warm soft dough and the gooey jelly. Their Project for a New American Cruller is evil genius.

is probably pretty damn big!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That said, he has got to be running the most inept campaign of the group--come on, with Iraq and the economy, who the hell is even going to pay attention to this other stuff?

This cast an aspersion on our whole party. It makes it look like were a bunch of wingnuts who want Big Brother to oversee everything we do, even our donut consumption. What's next, warning labels on fast food products telling us that if we eat too much junk food we'll be unhealthy?
