Do single people go out grocery shopping on a Saturday night?
Silly question, but I don't know. :)

1. I don't know either, but
working people pack the local grocery store on weekends. Some of them have to be single, right? ;)

2. Sometimes married people do too
Since grocery stores tend to be filled to overflowing with fucknozzles, and both the s.o. and I *loathe* grocery shopping, we go late at night and on weekends to avoid extra obnoxiousness.

5. I've been trying to find out for weeks.
So far it's just middle aged married old biddies who think I'm some sort of freak.

:D

6. Do you have one of those upscale grocery stores where you live?
Like Whole Foods or Epicurean Markets? When I was single, a lot of my single friends and I shopped in those places. Many other singles hung out there as well. I was shopping for actual groceries, but hey. :)

7. Yes... but I live in a repukie-dookie part of town... snobby losers.
By and large, mind you...

Still, if there is one I click with (and I haven't clicked with ANYBODY since 1994... maybe twice, but he doesn't count as we never talked and when I found out she was married I broke down - I think many DUers recall that particular episode... )

8. I do but I am married
Will attractive men think I am single if I go to the grocery store now?

9. Try avoid going between the first and fifth if at all possible...

If you're going Walmart, which I know is a long shot with DU, terrible to say, but every fuckstick with a welfare check is there with their 15 screaming children blocking aisles and ignoring everything around them, especially the screaming kids, while talking on their cell. God, I hate going to walmart anyway, but it's insufferable during that time, but we're poor so we don't have a lot of choice. That's why during this time of the month we go to Super Target. We don't have the same problem there.
I know this sounds terrible coming from a liberal, but goddammit, I've lived with this my entire life, and I'm not wrong about this.

13. Or the kids run amok, brazenly jaywalk, et cetera...
I can't say there aren't any problems with Americans... but the "solutions" being put into place by government are wrong.

Especially staring at the kids playing x-box boxing. Great graphics, but there is nothing of intrinsic value. I dunno anymore.

16. I hate screehcing out of control kids in stores.
They should pass a law allowing strangers to drop misbehaving, screeching kids in stores with a boot to the skull with no legal or criminal repercussions.

10. I'm single and went to the grocery store earlier.
I looked good, smelled good, and smiled but no takers.

12. I suppose if they're out of food and want to eat breakfast on Sunday
morning, they do.

Next question?

15. Sure, I do it.
I usually prefer Sunday night, at about 10:30. The selection is picked over, but there is zero crowd, so I'm in and out in about 30 minutes, no waiting at check-out etc.

And this kinda defeats the premise, but once I bumped into a girl I knew from class on a late night shopping trip...I wasn't single after that!

23. No, the grocery stores don't let them in on Saturday nights.
That's the only way to keep us insanely hot married people "safe" from you sleazy single people that want to seduce us and ruin the institution of marriage.
