4. Religiously!
But usually only on Fri, Sat, and Sun. They are the most challenging ones. I think that often the Saturday ones are harder than the Sunday ones.

6. Every single day,
Sick or well,
Rain or shine.

I figure it's good exercise for my brain. I've been doing it for years. My favorite days are Friday, Saturday (the hardest!!) and Sunday.

15. It's not bravery or ego.
It's just a different mindset. With ink, answers only get entered when certain. This forces inkers to work a puzzle in sections.

It's not any harder using ink. Just use a very fine-point pen.

14. Yes, but my wife likes to.
So I copy it. But my copying is always weeks behind. The only problem -- I don't have the next issue of the Magazine to get the answers and check what I did (oh no, I wouldn't cheat).

19. In ink - used to be every day
then Fri Sat (sun got too long and not hard enough) - now do Thurs, Fri Sat - thursdays have picked up a bit in difficulty.

Do in ink - sometimes looks like a real mess, but I love the challenge.
When Eugene Maleska died, I was in the pits - but I think Shortz is better and more wicked.

It is my one true addiction after reading and when I leave for the summer have to subscribe to the online puzzle feature so I can do them.

I thought today's was pretty easy, for a Thursday.

20. Every Sunday.
The Sunday edition of the Miami Herald carries the NYT Sunday Crossword Puzzle. I've been doing it for years and years. One time they wrote an article about how popular the puzzle was and how Bill Clinton could do the Sunday Crossword in twenty minutes. I wonder if Bush does Crosswords? :eyes:
