OK, now I'm freakin' out here, re: the new 'My DU' button!
They gave us DAYS of warning about the new 'journals'
feature, and took their time building up to it.
No problem there.

But suddenly, without a hint of warning,
the 'my posts' feature was smysteriously replaced
by a button labelled "My DU";
and clicking it takes me to a strange, unfamiliar
page where I have to search to find the "my posts" page!

I used 'my posts' as a serious navigational tool,
to keep up with issues I cared about as well as
actual conversations with my fellow DUers.

I suddenly feel like Grandpa Simpson here:
"I used to be 'with it', but then they changed what 'IT' was.
And suddenly, what I was WITH wasn't 'IT' anymore,
and what _was_ 'IT' seemed strange and frightening to me.
"

Is it just me, or does a total change in an old feature,
one that gets used thousands of times a day,
deserve at least as much 'heads up' as some totally new thing
that no one has seen here before?

1. You are probably right, my dear dicksteele.....
But now it's here, and we might as well get used to it....

I suspect it won't be too long before it feels as normal as our old Posts button felt!

4. Not just you. I too clicked what I thought was My Posts
after returning to my desk after several hours. New page came up and it was like, 'where AM I? What is this? What was I doing?'

Damn, I still need more rest.

Cool feature though. Think Skinner and Elad were just feeling frisky and decided to spring this on us to watch our reactions?

7. Testify, friend! I can totally relate.
for me, the jury's still out on whether I think the "MY DU" button is an improvement or not. I've been so used to it being a different way....

AAAAAHHHHHH......!!!!!!

Sigh. Breathe.

Change is the only constant there is.

We just gotta go with the Flow, babe....

8. it now seems to go right to "my posts" anyway
so it is not that much of a change. I thought it was gonna be 2 clicks instead of one.
But I never was "with it" so I do not mind being "out of it" although I might care if I get a round tuit.

9. I didn't notice until you mentioned it
I have a seperate bookmark button for "My Recent Posts" next to the regular DU button, so I just click straight to My Posts
