Poll question: What if GEICO, Progressive, State Farm, etc. stopped running TV ads?
What if they decided that everybody knows about them, that we don't need to be reminded of their existence every two minutes or so, and that *&%$#ing talking gecko finally went into retirement?

Yes, I know it's a lame poll, but I had to make sure they still worked. How big is that Journals link going to be, anyway?!:P

1. I give 'em props for having the funniest commercials...
...even if they run the jokes into the ground. Those "caveman" spots are brilliant, with loads of unresolved tension that doesn't fit the Madison Avenue formula.
