Tornado season is officially here!
An adjoining county has a report of possible touchdown right now and it is headed to the northeast-right towards me! Basement is ready, flashlights have fresh batteries and the radio does too. Now I want a beer and a few minutes to watch.

I love this weather! Ours usually starts in April but we had a very mild winter so it has arrived early.

4. It's been going to the NE all day long.
We've missed two so far but this one looks like a good one! I'm excited.

But we have another front that could do the same thing moving in this evening.

12. We might get some of it tomorrow
A special weather statement came in on my Weather Channel desktop weather. Most storms are expected to be strong, and not severe. I don't even like regular thunderstorms.

13. This is a large front,
causing baseball size hail, 80+ mph wind gusts and tornadoes. It is travelling to the NE at this time. And it lingers in the same spot for a couple of hours.

It's all clear now-for the moment. We do have another front to watch for this evening. Come March, we always have provisions ready. This is an early season-we usually don't have them until April.

15. We've already had the first hail storm.
Have fun. No official touchdown here and we are all clear.
