| I just saw "Hairspray" the Broadway musical |

It was AWESOME! Words cannot describe it...
The girl who played Tracy (originally Ricky Lake in the movie) was fantastic. Jim J. Bullock was Tracy's dad. Does anyone else remember Jim J. Bullock? Let me tell you, the dude can SING. The guy who played Devine's part--looked it.
We had box seats, a first for me. Yeah, I got to feel like royalty. Hey, we were right next to the bathrooms and didn't have to wait in line at intermission. Didn't have to climb over people to get to our seat. I am spoiled forever.
All in all, a great evening.

| 1. We saw "Hairspray" in Seattle just before it went to Broadway |
|
I'm so glad you had such a great time! We really enjoyed it, too. I was amazed to see the normally staid Seattle crowd get up and dance through the final number!
Did you get the cast recording CD? It's great!

I love the theme of the plot line it's mind expanding in the beliefs and values department. Nice and thought provoking.
